Spot rubber closed steady on Monday at ₹144 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. RSS 4 grade was flat at ₹141, according to dealers. The trend was partially mixed as latex lost further on low demand.August futures firmed up to ₹146.98 (₹143.99), September to ₹138.90 (₹137.52), October to ₹133.02 (131.49) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹113.31 (₹116.09) at Bangkok.August futures improved to ¥180 (₹117.52) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 144 (144); RSS-5: 141 (141); Ungraded: 116 (116); ISNR 20: 121 (121) and Latex (60% drc): 84.50 (85.50).
