Spot rubber declined as the major consuming industries continued to sideline the market on Thursday. RSS 4 weakened to ₹116 (₹117) a kg, according to traders. The grade dropped to ₹116.50 (₹117) and ₹113.50 (₹114) respectively according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend was mixed. November futures concluded at ₹117.60 (₹117.71), December at ₹119.20 (₹119.39) and January at ₹122.35 (₹121.98) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹112.64 (₹112.25) at Bangkok. October futures closed unchanged at ¥170.5 (₹109.80) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/kg follow: RSS-4: 116 (117); RSS-5: 110 (111); Ungraded: 101(103); ISNR 20: 99(99) and Latex (60% drc): 71.50 (71.50).
