Physical rubber prices were steady on Thursday. RSS 4 was quoted unchanged at ₹130 a kg by traders. The grade finished flat at ₹131 and ₹128 respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. July futures improved to ₹128 (₹125.65), August to ₹126.80 (₹125.58) and September to ₹125.50 (₹124.56) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) closed marginally higher at ₹98.93 (98.89) at Bangkok. June futures slid to ¥150.6 (₹97.14) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 130 (130); RSS-5: 128 (128); Ungraded: 109 (109); ISNR 20: 114 (114) and Latex (60% drc): 100 (100).
